Week 2
Digital Document
What was learned this week was the importance of visual and universal designs when creating digital documents for adult learners as it enhances the overall learning experience and comprehension.
Adult learners can have diverse backgrounds, learning styles, and abilities. When incorporating effective visual design principles such as alignment, repetition, balance, appropriate color schemes, and well-organized layouts then the information can become more accessible and engaging for the learner.
Universal design ensures designing products and environments are accessible and usable by people with diverse abilities to ensure the learning content is accessible to individuals with different learning styles and cognitive abilities. When considering both visual and universal design principles instructional designers can ensure that the content is inclusive, engaging, and accessible to a wide range of learners while enhancing their learning experiences.

I created a digital document using google docs, to provide during training to support coordinators for better understanding on the functions, purpose, and utilization of the tracking sheet. This addresses objective #1- By the end of the one-day training, in groups of 2 to 3 learners new support coordinators will demonstrate comprehension of the tracking sheet by explaining and defining the terminology and purpose of each field on the tracking sheet.
